When it comes to mental health, we all should be involved.
With the hundreds of pages, why did I create this site?
- Many pages reach audiences and educate people on the issue of mental health. However, many still use clinical language and not recovery language.
- Recovery language is important. It helps put the person first and not label the person.
- When one receives a diagnosis of a mental health challenge, he or she might feel that that diagnosis is who they are. In reality, it is only a portion of who they are and does not define them.
- The goal for Life Better is to put the humanity into mental health. Or in other words, putting the “me” in mental health.
